Resources and abilities:
Where did they learn their abilities?   As far as Lyanna’s fighting abilities, I discussed this pretty in depth already (x). Her other abilities are largely natural– her diplomacy has been encouraged by Doran Martell for sure, but it comes from a natural charisma that Lyanna possesses. She’s unconventional and thinks outside the box, because her life has been unusual. She’s a sharp mind and she enjoys learning, so she’s knowledgeable and open-minded, which allows her to form common grounds with others easily. She’s also learned a lot from reading. 
If they have an income, where does it come from?   In any verse, Lyanna works for the Martells, either as an ambassador, or in the public relations department of the business. She is paid a salary for her work. In her default verse, she’s Doran’s ward and therefore lives in Sunspear, which provides for most of her needs. 
Do they have a job? Do they like it? How do they feel about their co-workers?   I just answered this, but she does enjoy her work. Lyanna likes being able to meet new people and find allies and business partners and essentially contribute to a larger purpose. It makes her feel like her time and effort are worthwhile at the end of the day, and it’s very rewarding work. In her default verse, it also affords her the adventure and travel that she’s always yearned for. The ambassadorship is a very good fit for Lyanna, and in many ways was like a dream.
