30 DAY CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT MEME;;
DAY TWENTY ONE (x)
Who do they want to meet? Her son, Jon Snow.
What about them is heroic? This is a tough question to answer because I personally feel that a lot of the decisions Lyanna has made were heroic in nature, but their outcome was absolutely horrible and in retrospect, one can see how flagrantly irresponsible they were. But for a sixteen year old girl to see those kinds of outcomes is an unreasonable expectation. I think that it was heroic of Lyanna to agree to surrogate a child for Elia and Rhaegar so that Elia wouldn’t have to risk her life to have a third baby. I think it was heroic of Lyanna to give up Jon to Ned in order to keep his life safe in the even that her identity was ever discovered. I think it was heroic of Lyanna to become a champion for Dorne and help Doran keep the country safe and fed. I think it was heroic of her to leave Dorne and risk everything to help her family. Now, this doesn’t actually answer the question per se of what it is about her that makes Lyanna heroic but I think at the heart of each of these deeds is the same quality: Lyanna puts the wellbeing of others as a huge priority and often puts it before her own wellbeing. Also, she is stupidly brave.
What would the character be like in their old age? Oh man, kind of like the grandmother from Moana I think. I don’t believe she would ever 100% fit in no matter where she ended up (even in the North), but she marches to the beat of her own drum and she cares deeply for her family (and she’s a little bit sassy).
